Skylight Replacement for Duke Energy in Charlotte
We are replacing translucent fiberglass skylights for Duke Energy on one of their buildings in Charlotte. These ridge skylights are only sixteen years old and have allowed water to penetrate through the outer layer. This water then sits on the inside of the panel and after a period of time starts out-gassing a rotten fish-like smell into the interior of the building.
The new skylights shall be barrel vault in shape and shall be made up of polycarbonate. This multi-wall product allows for strength, durability and high insulation values and lets in translucent light instead of direct light
