Available for work in Colorado and Coast to Coast — It all starts with a simple phone call.

This was an existing Kalwall skylight that had yellowed and fiber bloomed (where the skylight takes impacts from hail and the exterior protection allows water into the system and separates the sandwich panel away from the interlayer of structure. This also allows for mold to grow and allows water to penetrate into the interior of the building.

When FRP panels are not correctly maintained (Gel-Coat every 5-10 years) fiber bloom will also occur—even without experiencing hail or other impacts.

The results of improper or lack of maintenance.

Using SSI MAGS Bar to hold multiwall polycarbonate panels offers a great compromise between a fiber reinforced polymer or glass skylight.

Besides the initial cost, the MAGS Bar system allows panel replacement—from hail damage, for example— at a very affordable cost.

Work continues.

The yellow is gone!
