CERC Certification
Certified Environmentally Responsible Contractor (CERC) is a Certification Program administered by Environmental Risk Professionals that recognizes contractors who train their employees to understand and mitigate the environmental risks associated with their business.
This can be accomplished by either using best practices to prevent pollution incidents from occurring or obtaining additional environmental, health and safety training from various sources.
As part of the certification process, the contractor’s pollution liability coverage is evaluated and must meet the minimum standards set forth by the CERC Certification Program.
