Old, deteriorated polycarbonate can be replaced with a high quality product
Many structures in the 90’s utilized enclosing large roof spaces such as canopies, etc., with a new product, polycarbonate. The most common brand names are Lexan, Galena, Polygal, Extech and GE’s Thermoclear. This older style, wide-cell product is still in use today, however there are other brands that have improved the design. The problem with the product was and still is, includes the width of the spacing on the inner core.
A better product, Pentaglas, manufactured by CPI, has tight-cell technology which provides greater strength, flexibility and durability.
We frequently replace the worn out older-style glazing with the new polycarbonate glazing which looks better and will last much longer than the original product.
