Velux Sun Tunnels add daylight to new building.
Up on the roof:
With the roof deck installed, our contribution to the new construction can begin. Our crew cuts the openings (layout by others) in the metal deck, then install the insulated aluminum curbs. The curbs will be temporarily covered until the roof is completed, including the flashing of the curbs by the roofers.
After the roof is complete, our crews can install the Velux Sun Tunnel TCC flashing, the domes, and the first section of tubing. Then, depending on the progress of interior construction, the crew will move inside to complete the installation.
