Window installation in the Barrel-Annex buildings is a small part of a much larger renovation project.
Construction has begun on a large residential and commercial project in a blighted area on the western edge of downtown Salt Lake City.
The project will include 580 apartments, substantial square footages of retail outlets and offices, a plaza and additional outdoor spaces where what is now a bunch of cracked concrete and abandoned industrial buildings, located around 500 South and 600 South between 300 West and 400 West.
Barrel Building
The Barrel building has 5 large arched windows with a set of doors in the center opening in each of the south and east facing sides.
The Annex
The Annex has one quite large window facing east and four small windows on its south side.
