How to Solve Two Problems with One Job.
The Church Skylight Needs To Be Replaced:
A local church had an ugly failed skylight atop their grand sanctuary. They contacted Skylight Specialists to examine and estimate a replacement of the skylight.
The replacement had many complications and issues to work through. The height of the skylight, the position of the sanctuary and the ability to remove and replace the skylights either piece by piece or in sections.
Not to mention performing the work safely. Access to the skylight was 40′ off a roof top and over 60′ from the floor of the sanctuary.
Care was taken in removing the old skylights. We prepped the existing curbs, flashed and set the new skylights in place. Now the church has a new skylight system that will bring in more daylight into the sanctuary than they have had in a long while.

The Cross Needs To Be Re-used:
Prior to the work on the skylight was to begin the church asked if we could help them remove the large metal cross from the front wall of the sanctuary. They were discouraged that they would need to cut it up in order to remove it from the building.
Having the skylights open at the top, Skylight Specialists was able to remove it through the opening. The church was able to salvage the cross and keep it in one piece.
